How you got inspired to create this scape?
Vivo en Polonia. Hay muchas vistas de hermosas montañas.
I’m living in Poland. There are many beautiful mountains views….;)

¿Que técnicas para distribuir y fijar los sólidos has usado?
Which techniques you used for to make the distribution and fixation of every kind of solids?
Primero puse el sustrato. Cree inclinación en la parte trasera de los laterales del acuario. Luego puse las piedras. No hice ninguna fijación. Más tarde hice el río central y separé la grava del sustrato con pequeñas piedras.
First I put soil. I made elevation on the back of the tank(on the left side and right side), later I put stones and that’s all. I didn’t make any fixation. Later I made a river-flow, I separated the gravel from the soil by a little stones.

¿Has realizado algún tipo de esbozo o dibujo previo al montaje?
Have you prepared any kind of draft or drawing previous to set-up?
Si, preparé el proyecto sobre papel, me sirvió para saber que necesitaba para el montaje (plantas, piedras, troncos…). Cuando hice la foto final del acuario la comparé con el dibujo y me di cuenta que se parecía mucho al boceto inicial.
Yes, I prepared some project on paper, then I knew what I need to set up(what kind of plants, stones, and wood) . When layout was ready to final picture I compared it to draft and I have to tell that it was very similar.

¿Para hacer la distribución de los sólidos y las plantas has seguido algún tipo de proporción estudiada previamente o simplemente has improvisado sobre la marcha i/o seguido tu intuición.?
To arrange the distribution of solids and plants, are you following any kind of previously studied proportion or simply you improvised as you work on the scape or followed your intuition?
En el papel todas las proporciones se veían bien, pero después tuve que trabajar el acuario para conseguir la idea. No fue fácil. El hardscape lo preparé durante algunas horas siguiendo mi intuición.
On the paper all proportions looked great.. but later I had to reach my goal in tank. It wasn’t easy. I prepared hardscape long time(few hours). I followed my intuition.




¿De que manera has realizado el primer plantado? 
How you arranged the first planting? 
Primero planté las plantas pequeñas con el sustrato húmedo, después cuando el acuario estuvo lleno, planté las plantas de tallo.
First I make soil wet. Plant small plants, and later when aquarium is full of water I plant stems plants.

¿Cuando has añadido la fauna?
When you added the animals?
3 semanas después de montaje añadí caridinas japónicas (grandes trabajadoras). Los peces (Rasbora Heteromorpha) los añadí dos meses después del montaje.
3 weeks after set up I added shrimps(cardina japonica – hard working creatures). Fishes(Rasbora Heteromorpha) was added 2 months after set up.

¿Como vas incorporando los nutrientes durante las primeras semanas del montaje? 
How do you add nutrients in the first weeks of set-up? 
Solo co2 y potássio.
I add just co2 and K.


¿Que cantidad de luz y de que manera la incorporas al acuario? Que color de luz es el que usas?
How and how much light you put on the aquarium? What colour light do you use?
Uso T5 6x54w, 4 865 y 2 con color rojo.
I use 6 x t5 54W for 120/60/50h. 4 x fluorescent t5 (865 TLD) and 2 x Fluorescent with red spectrum.

¿En que te has basado para escoger la fauna de este acuario?
Why you choose this fauna for this set-up?
En mi opinión combina perfectamente con el diseño.
In my opinion it combines perfectly with layout.




¿Que tipo de agua has usado y cada cuanto realizas los cambios?
What kind of water have you used (kh, gh, no3-k-po4,...)and which criteria you use for water-changes?
Uso osmosis + minerales para conseguir:
25ppm Ca
6ppm Mg
6ppm Cl
4ppm Na
20ppm K
GH 5
KH 3

I use RO + minerals to reach:
25ppm Ca,
6 ppm Mg,
6ppm Cl,
4 ppm Na,
20ppm K,
GH 5
KH 3

¿Has tenido aparición de algas en algún momento? A qué lo atribuyes? De que manera las has combatido?
Did you get any algae in any moment? Why you think it happened?
Si, en algunos momentos, igual que todos. Hay varias razones, mucha o poca luz, demasiado o poco abono, poco Co2, demasiada fauna…
Yes, sometimes like everyone gets ;)
There are many reasons.. too much/too little light, too much/little N,P or Fe, too little CO2, too much fauna…...

¿Tienes alguna preferencia en cuanto a realizar la primera poda? ¿Como has ido realizando las distintas podas? 
Do you have any preference for the first “pruning”? How you do the pruning? 
No, siempre de a misma manera, corto como si fuera un peluquero. Corto todas las plantas al miso tiempo, eso me permite tener una visión del diseño.
No, always the same way… I just cut like hairdresser ;)
I cut all plants at the same time. It let to keep layout vision.




¿Has limpiado las piedras?¿Como?
Have you cleaned the stones during the scape? How?
Si, usé “Femanga Algen Stop”,¡ funciona! Lo uso en las rocas cuando hago cambio de agua.
Yes. Of course. I use Femanga Algen Stop General(It works!!). I pour it on the rocks when the water is drained.

¿Las rótalas parecen cerradas, como consigues ese efecto?
The rotala seems little closed, how you make this effect?
Lo consigo haciendo las fotos 1 hora después del cierre de las luces
You have to make pictures min. 1 hour after light-time

¿Has retirado o añadido algún pez para la foto final?
Have you added or removed any fish for the final picture?
Ni añadí ni saqué. Norbert hizo las fotos y yo intenté que los peces nadaran juntos.
Todo es natural.
Any added and any removed ;) Norbert did pictures and I tried to fishes make shoal.
Everything is natural.




¿Una vez finalizado el paisaje y después de la foto final, que aspectos crees que pueden ser mejorables?
Once you finished the scape and after the final picture, what do you think could be improved on the set-up?
Yo creo que en este trabajo es bueno y no necesita mejoras.
I think that work well did and didn’t need any improve.



¿En algún momento has retocado fotografías con fotoshop? Piensas que debería ser aceptable el retoque en los concursos? Que límites pondrias?
Have you used any kind of Photoshop for this scape? Do you think image edition should be acceptable in the contests? Which limits would you fix for this, if any?
No usé. El acuario es exactamente igual que en la foto. Creo que el retoque debe estar permitido sin interferir en la composición o el color.
I didn’t. The layout is exactly the same as in the picture. I think that image edition should be accepted, but wisely without any interference in the composition/colour.
